Since April 2004, Sangeet Australia has been presenting a regular series of the highest quality mehfils,  (soirees), concerts and workshops in Sydney by Hindustani musicians on tour from India as well as local musicians. These have been very successful and over time has attracted a loyal and dedicated audience.

Information for artists who wish to perform for Sangeet Australia
We are a small passionate organisation run by practising artists operating without any outside funding or sponsorship. It is a labour of love and we make no profits from this venture. Due to this lack of resources and capabilities we can not provide sponsorship for visa applications, nor are we able to cover either international or local transport costs or to provide local hospitality in Sydney. If you are already on tour in Australia and have plans to come to Sydney, then please contact us with a proposal.
